This is one of those “WTH” episodes. I had to go back to try and decipher why.
Erik’s signature bake was ‘Hot chocolate and S’mores’, their only complaint was that he should have tempered his chocolate before dipping. In the technical he placed 9th. In the showstopper he created ‘Travels around the globe’ with an airplane as the moving part… and they had no complaints (that we saw).
Tatiana’s signature was ‘Chocolate peppermint cookies’ with no complaints. In the technical she placed 11th. In the showstopper she created ‘Dog’s just wanna have fun’ with the frisbee ATTACHED to the wall as the moving part and they said they couldn’t taste any chamomile in her chamomile cookie.
Even in the final decision discussion, they restated there was NO chamomile in her cookie and they stated Erik’s chocolate cookie was well done, but questioned if it was enough. Again I say, WTH!!!!!!
