Adam pulled away every since the Hideway.  I suspect Adam is disappointed they weren’t intimate and thinks he needs someone who is willing to put out.  I don’t have any actual basis for that (i.e., comments he made about it to other guys).  It’s just so coincidental he stopped wanted to get close to her.  Guys can be that way.
