It is so sad that Alyssa thinks Duncan’s expectations for a relationship are unrealistic when in reality, he is just asking for a basic healthy relationship. I’m so glad Duncan found happiness.

I was so thankful that Duncan said no!!! I think Alyssa is a classic case of letting her insecurities get the best of her, leading her to constantly doubt Duncan, which ended up pushing him away, which brings her right back to her original insecurity – “no one will want a single mother.”

Had she just been able to overcome that, she could have had an amazing guy by her side. Sadly, she appears to be too deep in her delusions, and so of course thinks she is a queen who was wrongly dumped by a peasant.

From my view, Duncan appears to have excellent character and emotional stability. He is a real catch and this show will undoubtedly give him the exposure to find someone else. Hopefully he chooses well, as there will be many seeking his attention.

YAY DUNCAN!!! This proves that 1.Alyssa hasn’t listened to the experts advice. 2. Is delusional & needs therapy IMMEDIATELY!. 3. Her mother really doesn’t know her. It really didn’t surprise me what Duncan did, Alyssa robbed herself of her own happiness.

She came across as very needy and apparent insecurities, it was all about her, her and her. Then to not actually acknowledge things that he said in order to help/save/foster the relationship. She would always find a way to be very negative regardless of what Duncan had said.

He dodged a bullet with her and anybody in the right frame of mind would have done the same. I was a damn shame things ended the way they did as they seemed a great couple from the start. Time tells many truths in the end.
