Farmer Thomas = glutton for punishment, can he not see that Clarette is controlling, robbing him of his own thoughts and feelings and he has to conform to her ways. If he does get with her in the end and things go peared shaped he will only have himself to blame for not seeing the signs that most us have seen already. 

I thought it was almost prophetic that his uncle called her ‘Clair’ and said he’d never heard ‘Clarette’ before.  Seems Thomas may be pouring his heart out to his family off camera over the one that got away and that he’ll most likely wind up with in the end because he’s never going to feel that way about Clarette and she’ll leave him the first time he doesn’t fulfill her demands.

I don’t think Chloe is the right choice for Corey
